Oh, wait, you didn't. You have to admit, if 64 power conference teams formed a new football association and left the NCAA, as popular as ND is, life could get a bit interesting.

Hannah - Until I read that article, neither had I. But I agree with it in concept. And, best of all, it would reinvigorate the Texas-Arkansas rivalry by putting them in the same conference again. However, you forget about one rivalry that would be revived: Arkansas and Texas. Obviously there's not much competition there now, as Arkansas has decided to have a building decade, but the game of the century, after all, was played between them!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1969_Texas_vs._Arkansas_football_gamehannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14664942400486395078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5971732155966620724.post-81233841202417649672010-04-24T15:56:08.249-04:002010-04-24T15:56:08.249-04:00You leave ND's undergarments (and drinking pro...You leave ND's undergarments (and drinking problems) out of this!!

And I have to admit even with my interest in College FB, my eyes started to glaze over just a bit 3/4 of the way through.Mariellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298579639518253963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5971732155966620724.post-13057142676884773812010-04-24T11:26:09.973-04:002010-04-24T11:26:09.973-04:00"Yes, ladies, I can see your attention wander..."Yes, ladies, I can see your attention wandering already."

Hmph.

That said, I'll admit to caring much more about professional teams than college ones, but I'm still interested your predictions on the expansion.

And I like your use of "Charlie Fox" in the previous comment.Liebchenhttp://liebchen11.wordpress.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5971732155966620724.post-57066803617206401942010-04-23T12:18:54.256-04:002010-04-23T12:18:54.256-04:00Alice - See, that's why you have to read the w...Alice - See, that's why you have to read the whole thing. *this* article is about how college football conferences may look in a couple of years.

Don't even get me started on the expansion of the tourney. Although, I think I can handle 68 teams a lot easier than 96.
